Our Mission

To train high functioning adults on the ASD who have graduated from high school in computer programming and web design in order to prepare them for careers in the IT industry.

Our Approach

Our goal is to help our students secure internship opportunities with local firms in the banking and IT sectors upon successfully completing our program. Our technical institute will work with banks and other institutions in the technology and corporate sectors to identify what computer skills and software applications that our students can learn in order to gain employment with those institutions. Our curriculum will be designed to incorporate those key skills using a hands-on learning approach to train them to master those skills upon graduation and seek internships with those institutions with the ultimate goal of gaining full-time employment.

Our Classes

Our classes are FREE and are held at the UNT Kristin Farmer Autism Center. Our learners are high functioning adults on the ASD spectrum 18 years and above (High School completion or GED/Certificate) that are:

• Transitioning from school to work

• Interested in the high-tech field

• Able to follow instructions independently in an open classroom setting.

• Ask questions and seek help when needed.
